BE RESPONSIBLE PARENTS!!!

BE FREAKING RESPONSIBLE PARENTS!

Seriously people, if you are not able to take care of your kids yourself, DONT GIVE BIRTH to more than 1 kid! (OR RATHER, DONT GIVE BIRTH AT ALL!)

What I meant by taking care is normal daily routine of caring for your child. Taking care of them YOURSELF and maybe with some help at your own PLACE. Showering them with TLC and coaching them properly. Feeding them and showering them yourself. Not just throw at grandma's place almost 7 days a week and can don't visit them many days in a row! If the parents are super busy with work, I understand.

BUT, no. the mum is doing her freaking maternity leave and staying at her own mum's place so she can leave her newborn baby to her mother's care. What about the elder child? One kid at one grandma's place!

I seriously despise such people. AFTER giving birth to 2 kids, THERE ISN'T A SINGLE WEEK THAT SHE SPEND WITH THEM ALONE AT HER OWN PLACE (OR MAYBE I SHOULD SAY 3 CONSECUTIVE DAYS?!). Whenever they can, they will leave the kids at the grandparents house and sleep away at home! Be it the first child or currently both!

If you don't love kids in the first place, then DONT GIVE BIRTH. If they think that their kids are irritating and interuppting their rest, how about they are interuppting others TOO?!!

These kind of parents are just making people dislike them to the core and dislike their kids to the core cause they are just freaking irritating!

With the reason of the mum is currently taking a degree course, hence, no time for the kids, seriously, private degree course requires u to study every single day?! Best part is I seriously don't see how a private degree is going to help when you are working in a government sector which doesn't recognise the degree at all!!!!!

It is one's choice to study or have kids. But if you wanna do both at the same time, PLAN YOUR TIME! At least take care of them yourself during weekends and public holidays! Is that too much to ask for?! That is the most BASIC responsibility of being parents! If you cant take care of them during weekdays due to work committments, do so during weekends and PH! Don't just dump them at the grandparents place!

Having 2 kids and behaving like having none is such an irresponsible act! Dumping both kids at the grandparents place without hiring any extra help for the grandma is even worst! They didn't even consider that the grandma is getting on in years and have to take care of a newborn and a kid AND doing household chores are extremely tedious!

WHY DON'T THEY TRY DOING THAT?!

Freaking irresponsible parents!!!!

Finally, Updates :)

It's been a good 6 months since I last wrote in this little space of mine.

I have been real busy with work, adjusting to new work timings and new environment. It has been good so far and I am surprised that I actually like my scope of work other than having to handle some real cheapos at times.

Time really flies and hubby is gonna get posted to US real soon. As in really really soon. Next weekend is our last weekend together *sobz* I just refuse to think about it now :((

Think I'll need some time to get used to him not being around :((

How I wish time will really flies past when he's not around so very soon I'll visit him in the states, follow by the completion of our little nest and he will be back!

How can I not mention my darling baby boy here? :)

He's such a big baby now! And of course, getting more and more adorable & handsome!

I was at Mdm Boo's place the other day and I was sleeping with baby boy. He is sooooooooo cute when he wakes up! Gosh! He would rolled over to find his huge pooh bear and give it a tight squeeze! He was all smiley and giggly! Totally melts me!

And, he's looking more and more like me! Hahahhaah! So charming! *ahem* Hahahah! I am always wondering if my own little baby (if I ever have one) will look this much like me? He has that very refined look and 'feel' that not many boys have!

Totally love him and love cuddling and kissing his ever-bouncy cheeks!

Having baby boy in our family is really god's gift. First time in my life, I can feel so much love for my darling baby. I can just look at him and I would like smile and feel so contented. Everything about him are mega cuteness and he's cute even when he's throwing a tantrum! He will just make a bad day seems much better :)

He's extremely lovable when he's in a kian kian mode! He would lie on my shoulder when I am carrying him and I just super love it and refuse to let him down even when my arm is aching like hell.

Well, time to end my post and I'll try to blog more :)

My Darling Baby Boy

Well, guess this is a post of my obsession of my darling boy :)

He's such an adorable, cutie, handsome darling baby!

How time flies, he's almost 10 months old and I am loving him more everyday. He's so uber cute and handsome (he's a photocopy of me! Hahaha!) that I simply got to resist the urge to rush over to Mdm Boo's place to hug him whenever she sends me a video of him.

Last Saturday, I went over to Mdm Boo's place to visit my darling and he's so cute! Look at the photos below!

Yeeyee's taking pictures of me again =_="

Okie, I'll entertain her a bit.

 Still snapping away?? *Frown*

Hmpzz! I don't wanna take anymore!!

Isn't my darling adorable? Hahahaha! He was irritated as he wanna watch tv :)

He's such a kian kian and lazy baby too! But I just loves it that he is soooo kian. It's simply because he's so kian that I can still hug him to sleep like as if he's still a 3 month old baby!

He's recently into toys that moves around and make noise and I bought him a too-too-train that does exactly that.

Can't wait to pass him his new toy! :D

Books

It's been a long time since I read a book and recently, I had revived my old hobby :)

It felt so good and therapeutic to read a nice storybook.

The first book that I read after so long.

Isn't the cover pretty? I can use all the pretty book covers to decorate a part of my new home :)

The story is really light hearted and it's quite nice to read, especially for someone who likes to watch "Sex and the City".

This b0ok is about how the diverse four women met in New York and how they became friends. It's so easy to read that I finished it in a day. Please note that the book is not thin. Hahhaa.

I am going over to Mdm Boo's place to grab some more books to read this weekend. Can't wait to start on another book! :D

Virgin Bali Experience

Bali had surprised me.

Before my virgin Bali trip, I seriously thought that Bali is just like Bintan and Batam, equally run-down and dirty. Well, when I reach Bali around 9pm, I was really really blown away by their nice restaurants along the way to my resort.

Bali is still relatively run-down, but it's a lot better in terms of dining options and I seriously didn't expect to see nice restaurants. But I must say, their lighting skills for the restaurants are expectionally good. A lot of the restaurants look super good at night, only at night. I can't seem to locate all the nice-looking restaurants in the daytime. Hahaha.

Below are some pictures of our resort. It is seriously not fantastic and in fact, it is kind of small for a 2 bedroom apartment.

My apartment really looks kinda boring isn't it? :(

Views near my room. Mine is supposedly 2 bedroom pool view apartment and from the picture, my room is t the top right hand corner. That's their 'poolview'. *roll eyes*

Our companions on the first night :)

Look how red my hubby is. Hahahha! (Though he's red, but he can drink! or rather, he's not as lousy as what we've thought! That's how he escape being drunk on our wedding night!)

Our brekkies. It comes in a set so you just need to chose whether you want English, American or Indonesian breakfast. Apparently, we are all on our American mode. Haha.
Our tibits for the trip. (We actually have more but we finished it before deciding to take pics).
One tip for buying tibits in Bali - Never ever buy from their "7-11". It's freaking expensive! A packet of Oreo (above) costs SGD$8! and their cheese chips cost SGD$12 per pack! That's madness. Always buy from their family mart, though it looks a little run-down (C'mon, you can't expect nice family mart in Bali). The price is on par with Singapore.

Kudeta is one of the 'must-visit' restaurant bar in Bali and it's indeed really nice!

It's a 100 times nicer than the one in Singapore! The one in Singapore serves lousy "zi-char" food! I nearly fainted when the food was being served and the portion for appetizers are the same as their main course!

Back to the one in Bali, the ambience is really nice and when we reached, the sun is setting and the view is amazing. It's a pity that I can't capture that with my iPhone camera.

Beautiful, isn't it? :) Imagine it 10 times nicer ^^

My seafood platter
Hubby's steak
Melly's cod fish. It look kinda gross though. Haha

The food at Kudeta is average but the ambience really won us over :)

We were walking around the island and Hubby saw the sign below.

Super hilarious, isn't it??

And the funniest thing is that, my hubby had a craving for BBQ chicken after he saw this poster! He's such a cruel carnivore!

On our last night, we went to Potato head. This place was recommended by my Indonesian clients and it's really good!

The ambience is really good as well and it's by the sea. They had a long pool just by the sea and you can actually see the waves splashing against the pool from the seating area.

The best part about this place is, you will feel that you are being covered by a blanket of beautiful twinkling stars. The entire skyline viewed from our seats are lined with bright twinkling stars. It's so beautiful and therapeutic.

Everything's really great at Potato Head except for the service provided by the host. It's so horrible that I wrote a long feedback letter. Other than that, the rest is ok :)

Lastly, a last shot in Bali. I will be back if I want a relaxing and sleeping trip :)
