My Little Godson (^_^)

Today is a long and tiring day.

Went over to Sharon's place for dinner and played with Jayden :) One thing I love about boys are that they are super fun to play with! Jayden, being super hyper and happy (he always does whenever I went over for a visit ^^ ), we played like crazy :)

I am truly amazed by the rate that toddlers picked up things nowadays. Just late last year, Jayden was enrolled into a nursery and at that point of time, he could barely speak proper words. He will always mumble baby languages which only babies understand but now, he is able to speak to me in long sentences, tells me alot of things, able to narate what is in the storybooks, asked me to go to church (Yes he truly did! Even Jayden is reminding me, guess I must be diligent and visit the church more frequently^^), and remember what games I have on my iphone and able to find them and play by himself.

Isn't all that amazing? I know toddlers nowadays pick up things real fast but still, it warms my heart when he is telling me 'stories' from his storybooks, remember what I played with him and what I taught him. It's especially sweet especially when I experience it first hand :)

Jayden was sitting between Sharon and me when he was playing games on my iphone and he suddenly stood up and hug both of us! How sweet is that? Hence, I started to take pictures :)

It totally look as if both Godma and Mummy trying to squeeze into the small camera lens and hence the reason for Jayden's face looking so squashed right??

But, we are INNOCENT! Hahhaha! Jayden thinks it's fun to be squashed together and hug us REAL tight when taking pictures! So much so that he didn't realise that his face is so squashed by us that he can't exactly smile properly anymore! Hahahha! Coincidentally, me and Sharon has that "Yeah" handsign which makes people think that we are feeling real proud for squashing his face!

We are truly innocent k! Hahhahaha!

Updates for BB

I will update my blog more diligently so BB can update himself on my thoughts and the little details that's happening during the times he is away :)

Nothing much happened over the weekend. Went over to Mdm Boo's place on Saturday and stayed for the night. I personally think that preggie mummys are amazing. Firstly, I can see that her tummy had grown over the past one week and her appetite is seriously, good (No wonder my darling nephew is developing so well :D ).

Now Mdm Boo is at a stage where she will start to have cravings for things that she doesn't usually fancy and through her change in preference of food, we are more affirm on the gender of the baby :) My little nephew is just like the dad. He lovesssssssssss burgers and western food and beef! Omgoodness! Hhaaha..

Mdm Boo, being a "chee-na" who needs rice, currently won't feel satisfied after her normal meals with rice. Hahhaa.. It's like a battle within yourself on what you wanna eat! It's frustrating and yet hilarious at the same time! Guess Mdm Boo will start eating beef in no time. Hahhahaha!

I was telling BB about it and he was laughing away as well. Can tell that he's as excited as me (maybe I am more excited ;p) with regards to my little nephew! :D BB is having his next portcall when I get back from Phuket next week! Now time seems to pass faster and we will count down to his every portcall together and he'll be back in no time! 4 more portcalls to come and between every portcall, it will be an average of 18 days interval.  95 days to go.

I decided not to drive to work today (sorry for the digression) as I am very lazy in finding a parking space in a carpark plus all the jams I have to face on the long journey back home. After driving for a while, all my enthusium for driving had gone with the wind. Hahhaa..now I can understand why BB is so tired at times for driving around the whole day. I will be more understanding in future but still, he gotta drive me around when he is back ;p

Kids nowadays seriously need to flip more fashion magazines. On the train, I saw this young girl who is wearing a long t-shirt (nearly touching her knees), black leggings, converse-like sneakers with colorful shoelaces and SOCKS. Socks meaning those socks that kids wear to school but hers is with ribbons. Her friends should probably ask her to take out her socks and she will look better. When I reach Tiong Bahru, I saw this xiao meimei and I can't help but to comment on her dressing. Firstly, I couldn't see her waist anywhere despite her wearing a high-waisted skirt and her entire outfit makes her look like a log! She was pairing this white t-shirt with a red high-waist skirt, and c'mon, national day is still a month away!

Fashion tip of the day. DO NOT EXPOSE YOUR FLAWS. Hide it intelligently. If you do not have a waist (or you couldn't exactly determine which part is your waist), do not attempt to wear a high-waist skirt and worst still, pair it with a slouchy t-shirt! I will advise her to wear a nice column dress and pair it with flats or heels and she will look as if she has a waist! Alternatively, she might wanna consider wearing a normal top/t-shirt with a nice trapeze mini skirt :)

Just when I was scolding myself and telling myself that I deserve the mad "after office hours" crowd at the train station(Yes, I'm taking a train home as there is Zero cab in sight n I gotta wait in the rain for a freaking cab) and being drenched in the rain for not driving to work today,I guess I am truly blessed :)

When I arrived at the platform, the previous train just left and it's packed to the max. So packed that you might be able to see some faces being "pasted" on the windows of the door. One minute later, an EMPTY train arrived and initially, I thought it's not for boarding but it Is!

An empty train with no mad rush of seats! I am wondering if they had the schedule wrong as they were announcing Tampines and Simei stations subsequently even though it is traveling towards Jurong.

Sitted happily in the train now and I guess I am truly blessed today :)

Time waits for no man

Time flies.

At the blink of an eye, BB had his first port call at Oman. Tomorrow is the 3rd weekend without BB and I am slowly getting used to just chatting with him on the phone everyday (Thank God for that) and updating him on what's happening everyday.

When he first set sail, I can't imagine how I can survive the 4 long months but time seriously waits for no man. Time will passes just as fast regardless of one's emotion. Can't wait for him to be back! I will pick him up on 8th October and follow by a seafood buffet! <3

When BB is back, Mdm Boo's tummy will be very very big le! Yes, my Mdm Boo is preggie!!! YEAH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :D

Tentatively, it's a boy! A 'manly' boy indeed! Hahhahha! So so so excited about my little nephew and he will be a Christmas baby! (his middle name will be "Christmas"!) My first little nephew and I am sure he will be a super uber duper cutie boy (cause he will look like me!是帅的咯！Don't doubt it! Wahahahhaah!)!

The only downside for having a baby boy is that there isn't a lot of pretty clothes to buy. Boys' clothings are soooooo boring :( Basically, it just consists of shirt, t-shirts, shorts n pants. Unlike having a baby girl whereby there are a zillion choices and it's all super pretty! But, it's good for Mdm Boo also la..if not she will literally bring home almost the entire collection of Baby Ralph Lauren and Baby Guess, not to mentioned the rest of the brands that carries pretty baby clothings.

Awwwww..So happy thinking that I can see my little nephew in 5 month's time!

Can't wait for year end to arrive! Good things will be happening! :D

Back to BB's early birthday celebration.

I design a cake for him!

Only after I tried designing a cake, then I realised how difficult it is! Especially the letterings! (Then I realised BB is talented as the wordings he wrote at the side of my cake looks damm neat, well written and nicely space-out!) It is so damm difficult to craft out what's in your mind! I tried to draw a flower at my very first try, and the 'flower' just look like a pile of cream and I was so desperate that I actually asked the bakers if they could help!

Well, they don't. !@#%^&amp;*

So I was left struggling for half an hour before I am able to get the whole cake looking like a cake. I wanted to draw little hearts at the top of the cake but I failed, and that explains why it's a whole pile of red jam at the top. Hhahahaha!

We went to Hog's breath(Robertson Walk) for dinner.

Seriously, I don't like the food but I think the service is good (other than the chinese waitress who took our orders initially) and I think it makes a better place for chilling out than having dinner.

Saw the little 'ball' in his hands?

It's Jayden's toy and BB loved it so much that he secretly hid it away and play in a corner so Jayden wont sees it! OMG lor..Hahhahaha!

The 'ball' is actually quite interesting. It is a reversible ball! When you throw it into the air and spin it at the same time, when the 'ball' touches the ground, it will turn into the color which is in the inner part of the ball before you spin it.

BB is so intricate by it and kept playing with it.

Men are men after all. They will be fascinated with this kind of things and will let themselves be entertained by it for a long long time :)

Stupid Car Servicing

It's my first time in my entire life to bring the car for its maintainence servicing and OMGoodness!!!!! It's so freaking expensive!!

Or is it the case that I look like a walking "Robert" that they can squeeze me to the very last drop? Maybe it's the case as I know nuts about car servicing and for me, it's safety first. If they were to tell me it's dangerous and must change, I will change. I can't possibly risk my life over such money right? But then again, it's still freaking expensive! At least to me, IT IS.

It costs me nearly $800 for a regular servicing whereby BB usually only paid $300plus for it. It's like more than double and it's still under warranty. Seriously, I wonder what the warranty usually covers??? I need to pay for almost everything!

I hate car servicing! >_<

Happy Girl :)

I am a happy girl today!

Simply because BB called when I was just thinking about him :)

I do miss him lots and was wondering if he will call me to say "Good Morning" this morning but my stupid phone didnt rang. So I was doing my own things and thinking of him and suddenly my office phone rang and it's him! Then I realised that my stupid phone has no reception since early morning as he told me he wanted to call me and say "Good morning!"

Exactly what went through my mind this morning!

Well, luckily he's smart enough to call my office, if not I'll feel damm sad again for missing his call.

This little action is enough to make my day <3
