I can't imagine how I can fall asleep without these every night. My shoulder ache is getting from bad to worst. It got so bad at times (it's getting more frequent now) that I will wake up in the middle of the night feeling sore all over my back and its aching so badly that I can't sleep (it's aching even with the smelly plasters on). But well, at least these smelly plasters enables me to fall asleep in the first place. Better than nothing right? I had tried quite a few brands and these are really good and the comfort stretch is its new product and I love it more than the orginial one (the one with the white background)!

Firstly, the patch is bigger (yes, size matters.) and it's a breeze when you peel it off. It's not as sticky as the original one and I can feel more 'heat' when I use it. The originall one actually caused my skin to be a little rougher due to frequent use and I gotta use my body scrub religiously to get rid of those dead skin cells cause by the sticky tape!

The only downside is that it's a little more expensive compared to the old one. It costs $5.65 for a box of 5 where the original one costs around $5 for a box of 40!

Guess I need to search for a permanent solution for my shoulder ache as using these frequently will cause it to lose its effects as well. Haiz :(

Random thoughts

It's a bluey Monday Morning again and the best thing is BB is off today! But here I am working away..

Nothing much happened over the weekend. I just finished another HK drama serial in a day again ( Yes, I am a couch potato and I always finished watching drama serials damm fast).

I received a "God's message" from the Facebook app which I personally think that it's quite accurate at times. It always happens to answer the worries I presently had and always enables me to view things from a different point of view. The last message was asking me to listen more (I can't publish it to my FB wall as there is something wrong with my connection after I read it) and stop asking so much questions as God had heard my prayers and it has been answered or in the process of it. Suddenly I am like, okay. It's true to an extend that I had been too 'kan giong' in many things and maybe I shall let things take its natural course as there's nothing much I can do anyway.

Another message was asking to let go. Telling me that though I always want to be in control of the way things turn out, but end of the day, I cant. I should just let go, relax and leave the rest to God.

Well, I had always been a free-thinker and I respect all religions. Somehow or rather, I felt that these messages actually gives me an answer to certain things..or maybe they make me feel better inside and enables me to take a break from my kan giong self once in a while.

I seriously hope things will turn out to be the way I hope it will be.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY to Me!

okay. I am officially a lao zhar bo liao. From next year onwards, I shall only have ONE candle on my birthday cake every year. Hahaha..

BB booked a room at Festive Hotel which is situated at Resorts World with intention to visit Universal Studios but well, it started to pour not long after we arrived so we just walked around the place.

Notice that it's an orchid theme hotel?? I HATE it.

Notice the ceiling has orchids on it as well? It is seriously a major turn off for me and it does look scary when you toss and turn and happens to open your eyes. Please note: Festive hotel has NO queen beds. They only have king beds and you have to pay additional S$100 to sleep in their king beds! It's seriously ridiculous! Where got hotels don't provide queen beds for couples?!?!?

So BB and I slept in twin beds and that's not the worst part! Both our bodies itched after sleeping in the beds!!!! Arghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh! and the flush of the toilet is moulded on the stupied wall and its in a small round circle. I nearly broke my nails trying to flush!!!!

This must be the WORST hotel experience I ever had!

After checking into the most undesirable hotel, we went to explore a bit.

After Hershey's and a few other stores, we went off to search for our dinner. (Though BB had already said that he wanted to eat Chilis..But I still wanna look around but nothing looks interesting :( )

Seems like nothing goes really well on my birthday. Well, but at least BB is accompanying me and most importantly, he design a cake for me!!

BB is quite pro writing the words on the side of the cake! He wrote " Loving you always and forever" and all the words are very nicely space-out :) My BB is finally being Sweet!!!! Hahhaha!

And as everyone knows (including me) that I will be getting my ring on my birthday (totally zero elements of surprises), well, he kneel down and propose to me after I make my birthday wishesss.

Though no surprises but I am touched by what he said and I am really happy to be marrying him as I know he will take good care of me and still loves me even when I look like a sumo wrestler. Most importantly, I found a man who is willing to give me his everything.. down to his very last cent and totally loves me for who I am. (it takes a lot of patience, love and tolerance to love me for who I am) Hahhahhaha!

Darling BB

BB can only come back tomorrow as there are some problems with the plane and everyone on the ship gotta stay on board for one more day.. This trip BB really misses me. I received 2 of his messages today whereby he sent it 2 days ago (guess reception is really bad) and I can sense that he really misses me very much as it has been a while since I received such messages from him and suddenly I feel so sad that he can't be by my side and let me bully (He secretly loves it!). hahhahahahah!

I always make him to do funny faces with me when we take pictures but just before the click I will always decided to act cute instead. Hahhahahah! So he looks ugly in most funny faces photos! *wide evil grinz*

BB: Irritating. Ask me to pout and she act cute. Pout is supposed to make your lips looked as pointed as possible!

TMD..ask him to smile and he looks like he is disgusted! He says that he is suppressing his smile cause he's on the phone! *fumes*

BB: hahaha..for once I got her! Me looking good and she looks ugly ;p

Feeling blue

BB went for "trial" sailing for another 3 days again..

It felt kinda weird without him around (especially at night after I got home) and maybe it's just me..the room seems to feel colder(literally colder) without him. Maybe it's the pms-ing period so a little emo and I am seriously bored. Like there's no one to talk to at home and I felt so alone (maybe I am just getting too used to his presence).I probably died from not talking after a while. Hhahahah!

Gosh..How am I going to survive the coming four looooong months?!?!?! I seriously can't imagine :(

And ya!To digress a little from my sadness, I had been reading this girl's blog and she is currently staying in Dallas (her hubby in air force) and the more I read, the more I wanna go over immediately la! Life seems great and peaceful over there! The only major hurdle for me is whether am I able to give up my job (I am not exactly earning peanuts)and just go over there for 2 years as when I get back, it might be a little difficult for me to get a nice job..Well, Hopefully everything will go according to my plan.

Familiar no more :(

I went to Suntec earlier to just browse around and hopefully I can manage to get my glutinous rice (I have cravings for it for the longest time since I changed job la!). I happily ordered one and paid for it. But who knows, when the aunty is packing for me, I sensed something was amiss. It is not the one I always had before!! The one I always ate comes with char siew and it was top off with a nice char siew sauce! The one aunty was preparing was with ikan bilis!! Arghhhhhh...It is practically worlds apart! :(

Feeling upset, I went to the other tower in the hope of getting a pair of heels to replace my current one (Yes, I am one of those that can have one particular top/dress/shoe in different colors if I really love it or buy 2 pairs at a go in case it ran out of stocks in the future ;p). Guess what?? The shop is GONE! Not only that particular shop, a few others had changed hands too!! I can't believe it!It's just within such a short period of time!

All of a sudden, the entire mall felt so cold and different and I am like someone being there for one of the first few times in my life whereby I used to be there almost everyday! It's so upsetting ;(

Guess the only good thing that came out of my little trip is that I managed to get the crystal jade ham and egg bread that I love. Better than nothing at all!

My First Birthday Present in 2010

I received my first birthday present today for the year 2010! It's seriously an early birthday pressie as it's 2 more weeks to my birthday.

But well, it's considered a 'surprise' gift as it's from my boss. Yes, my BOSS. I got a feeling that he will get me a gift as he asks me when is my birthday in front of his business partners while we were on our way to a dinner meeting and being the buay paisei me, I just told him it's 18th and asks for a pressie straight! Hahahhaa...

Guess part of it works! Hahahahah.. he was on the phone when we arrive at the restaurant (it's at DFS!Perfect location to ask for birthday pressie during dinner! Hhahaha!!) and he excuse himself from the table and he was gone for a while. And when he came back, he handed me the gift :)

To be honest, I was a little disappointed when I saw the LV carrier (it's a small carrier) as I dun think I need anything from there and I am not a huge fan of the brand. But nevertheless, it's really the thoughts that counts. At least he bothered to ask and seriously got me a pressie.

My First pressie from my boss :

Well, I would say it's quite a nice cardholder with quite an adequate amount of compartments. This will come in handy for my namecards (that's what my boss wants me to use it as and to give out more namecards for networking/business purposes) and some cash when I go out without my giant bags :)

So looking forward to more pressies!!!
