Purple Obsession

My latest favourite color will be deep royal purple.

Currently having deep purple nails (first time in my life!) and now I am very much tempted to buy purple shoes! All thanks to online shopping website :(

The color is dammmm nice la! Just that it doesn't show very well here (I can't save the picture from the website). I so wanted to get it but am afraid that the size doesnt fits. Had a couple of bad experiences buying shoes online.

Does anyone know where I can get Colin Stuart shoes in Singapore? Really need to try on as it's covered shoes and it's not exactly dirt cheap where I can just buy and try and throw away if it doesnt fits.

Maybe I should try to stop visiting online shopping websites (please let me know more interesting blogs that I can read, it saves me alot of money!), I told myself I won't buy anything (clothes and hopefully shoes (already ordered a pair and waiting for it's arrival :D)) this month as I bought quite a fair bit last month.

I will allow myself to get just 1 pair of purple heels though I am crazy about the color right now.

Time to be discipline!

Bridal Gown Woes

 Dear fairy godmother , will you help me if you truly exists????

Been searching high and low for my french laces and I can't seems to find it! Either there isn't anymore stocks or they are waaaayyyyyy too expensive! The ones that are available are selling at $390 per metre and I need 12-15metres!!!! Do the math and you'll know what I mean.

I seriously would loveeeeee to have my full lace bridal gown but it's so so so freaking expensive! The slightly cheaper ones do not have stocks and even if they have, they may not bring it in if they have the wholesale order.

Currently waiting for my thai friend to help me check out on the availability of the laces in Bangkok. Hopefully I'll get good news soon.

I am also considering to change the design I have in mind so I don't need to use so much laces but nothing seems very right.

Was browsing through the bridal magazines and saw these few designs.

Change it to a tight mermaid bottom?

Same goes for this and make some changes to the back?

I am really quite lost in terms of the design..any suggestions?? I want and need to wear a mermaid shape gown.

Also, my evening gown is half done and it does look quite nice, except for the fact that it's abit tight. They must have sewn it smaller! It feels so so so tight!!

Dammit, now I gotta go on a diet :(

Dinner with Mummy

Spent the weekend lazing at home watching DVDs and having dinner with Mummy.

Went to Bukit Panjang Plaza and it certainly had changed quite a fair bit. It's been a while since the last time I went and now, they have quite a fair bit of new restaurants in the mall.

Initially I planned to go to the 香港茶餐厅 located on level 2 but after walking around for a bit, we decided to try the 台湾茶餐厅.

It was the WORST choice we ever made.

Main courses were HORRIBLE.

Always 'jia jia'. Avoid looking at the camera but I secretly thinks she loves to 自拍. Hahaha!

"Lu rou fan"

It looks ok, doesn't it? It tastes HORRIBLE. Even the egg tastes awful. Super disgusted.

"Oyster Mee Sua"

It's not even hot when it's being served. Plus the taste is awful.

"Yan Su Ji"

The only decent dish.

"Bak Kwa Tofu"

You can only taste the tofu.

Even the normal Red Pearl Milk taste horrible! It's simply 'chinese-style teh with pearls' and it's the not nice teh! Gosh!! Think they should close down fast. It's a sin to serve such horrible food!!

How I wish

I can have my own place now and I can start decorating my dream walk-in wardrobe and start buying funitures and utensils!

I was shopping around with Sharon yesterday and came across these pretty plates!!!!

Isn't it pretty??

I love it to bits! I almost wanted to buy it immediately...if not for the constraint of space.

There's these colorful glasses as well. 

 

There are a zillion colors to choose from! (But I guess I will still stick to the transparent ones as it goes better with the pretty plates above)

Think it must be age. I am so excited walking through the kitchen ware department and exploring around like a little kid.

How I wish I can get my own place soon and I can start bringing all these adorable little cuties home :)

Lovely Sunday

The lovely sunday was kicked off with a hearty breakfast at this nice old colonial style building off Balmoral road (I didn't take notice of the name ^^)

Walkway to the restaurant

The entire place is very very cosy and certainly makes a great start to a lovely sunday morning!

I simply love such settings and it felt so calm, relax and happy! Though the sausage doesnt taste very very good, but the ambience makes up for everything else! I would love to go back for for breakfast with my darling when he is back :)

It's such a bliss to have a nice brekkie with your loved ones on a lovely sunday morning!

After brekkie, we went to baby's fair at Takashimaya and other buying some infant clothings for little Oscar, I bought him his first teddy bear! (Will take a picture of baby Oscar's clothing collection and teddy bear next week. It's all so adorable!)

I also bought this very very pretty eyeshadow.

Thanks to Mdm Boo's sharp eyes when she's walking past the counter :) It's a beautiful shade of blue with glitters on it! Love my new eyeshadow :)

When I arrived home, I saw a package on my bed.

My Juicy Couture Iphone cases arrived!!!

Their service is great and the best part is, I placed order last week and it arrived within  a couple of days!

The white one is mine, pink for Melly and black for Sharon! All 3 of us have the same cases!

Can't wait to change the casing but first, I have to find someone to help me remove my Kate Spade casing as being the kiasu me, I closed it super duper tight previously and now I can't remove the case. Hopefully someone is able to help me remove, if not I'll have to wait till my BB is back to open it for me without damaging it.

Marmalade Pantry

Went to Marmalade Pantry at Ion with Melly and Sharon on National day for brunch and afternoon tea :)

It's my first time dining there as I heard raves about this restaurant. Well, it is set in the middle of the mall on level 3, nothing particularly outstanding. Maybe it's a public holiday, maybe they are short-handed and their service is really really bad. No one actually entertains you when you rise up your hand to call for them, and even when they are at your table, you don't see them smile. There's this rude waitress that abruptly took away our sugar pot without even asking for our permission (we were having tea), or rather, she didn't say a single word when she took it away! Basically just take and put it on other table and just put it back when it's not needed by others.

Hello, I don't think I am transparent. It's so plain rude!

The only consolation is that their brunch is still not too bad.

We ordered "Eggs of any style" and crabmeat linguine before our desserts as Melly is late.

So after Melly arrived, we order a few cupcakes to share. Initially I thought it will be presented in a nice plate/tray but it wasnt. They just place a cupcake on a white plate and serve it, so we had 4-5 plates on the table. So messy.

The presentations were so bad that I can't be bothered to take pictures as I am someone who loves nice presentations and decor. In this area, they failed miserably. Their cupcakes are quite ok, at least the ones I ordered. Personally prefer Elvis (Peanut butter with choco banana cake) and Nutella (the name says it all).

Well, I guess the company makes a difference as I do enjoy myself that day even though the service sucks.

It's always nice to have a girlies outing once in a while :)

Finally

My Kate Spade Iphone casing finally arrived last Saturday in this big box.

Thank you Katherine from Kate Spade for addressing my issue but I would appreciate it even more if the packers could pack the Iphone casing in a smaller box or just slot it into a bubble pack envelope as shipping charges goes by the size of the box which is way way too big for the casing.

Nevertheless, I am still happy receiving my casing that I had waited so long for! :)
